Concordia University men’s hockey battled hard against Saint John’s Thursday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, but the Cobbers fell 2-1 despite strong offensive pressure and timely saves from Philippe De Champlain. Concordia moves to 11-11-2 overall and 6-8-1 in MIAC play.
Behind a clutch overtime goal from Caden Triggs, the Concordia-Moorhead men’s hockey team earned a 4–3 victory over Hamline Saturday afternoon. Caden Triggs, scored the game-winner at 4:41 of the first overtime, finishing a strong night with a goal and an assist.
Behind two goals from Tucker Skime, Concordia skated past Hamline 5–2 on Friday night, using a three-goal first period to secure a road MIAC win. The Cobbers improved to 10-8-1 overall and 5-5-1 in conference play.
Tucker Skime scored the game winner in overtime and he team with senior Joe Harguindeguy to post two goals and three assists in Concordia's 3-2 win at St. Olaf.
Concordia built a 6-1 lead going into the third period and made sure there would be no late-game drama as they cruised past St. Scholastica. Seniors Joe Harguindeguy and Matthew Hard scored two goals each to lead Concordia to the 6-2.
Concordia built a four-goal cushion through two periods and answered a late rally by No. 15 UW–Stout with an aggressive odd-man rush in overtime, earning a hard-fought 6–5 victory in a MIAC–WIAC crossover showdown at home.
Concordia finished off its 2-game series at Marian (Wis.) by scoring four goals in the final two periods to earn a 5-2 victory over the Sabres. The win keeps the Cobbers unbeaten in 2026 and moves their overall record to 4-6-2 on the season.
Concordia erased a late third-period deficit to force overtime, but neither team could find the game-winner as the Cobbers and Marian skated to a 4–4 tie Saturday night in nonconference men’s hockey action.
Concordia used a dominant third period and a 47-shot performance to power past Saint Mary’s on Friday night, earning a 4–1 win in the series opener at the Moorhead Sports Center.
Concordia’s series finale with Augsburg appeared to be headed down a similar path as the opener on Friday with both teams exchanging goals in the first and second periods in a tight checking contest. Unfortunately for the Cobbers, the game veered off that path late in the second period.
