MOORHEAD, Minn. (3/05/26)---Concordia reaped the rewards for winning its first MIAC Indoor Championship since 1999 by earning two of the four major postseason awards.
Head Coach Marv Roeske was named the MIAC Indoor Coach of the Year and first-year multi-sport athlete Lauren Pearson (Cameron, Wis.) earned Rookie of the Year honors.
Roeske guided the Cobbers to the recently-completed MIAC Indoor Meet championship. Concordia won three individual event wins and scored points in 19 of the 20 events in the meet. CC finished with 144 points which was eight clear of second place.
The award is the first MIAC Indoor Coach of the Year for Roeske but it is the sixth of his career. Roeske was named the MIAC Outdoor Coach of the Year in 1998, 1999, 2004, 2012 and 2015.
