Concordia ended its 27-year championship drought by using the strength of its team to capture its fourth MIAC Indoor Championship Meet title in program history. The Cobbers only had three event wins over the two days but used a boat load of podium finishes to tie for the most indoor championships of any school currently in the conference.
Londyn Ames, Josie Brown, Kyla Nygaard and Kelyn Henry-Perlich won the distance medley relay and Emily Rengo broke the school record in the 55-meter dash on the first full day of the MIAC Indoor Championship Meet.
Londyn Ames' record-impressive run in the 1000 meters highlighted another weekend of successful storylines for the Cobbers as they move closer to the MIAC Championship Meet.
Senior Kyla Nygaard led a bonanza of impressive finishes for Concordia at the 2-day NDSU Bison Open. Nygaard pulled off the rare event win in the meet that was dominated by NCAA Division I and II athletes. And to make her performance even better, Nygaard broke a school record in the process.
Concordia opened the 2026 season by competing in the only meet in 2025. The Cobbers went across the Red River and participated in the annual NDSU Alumni Classic.
