Concordia pulled off the track & field season double as they cruised to the team title at the MIAC Outdoor Championship Meet at St. Olaf less than three months after earning the crown at the conference indoor meet at Carleton.

The Cobber multi-event crew earned the Cobbers 21 team points at the MIAC heptathlon. CC had four athletes finish in the Top 7.

Multi-Event University might not have taken away individual title honors at the MIAC heptathlon, but they placed three athletes in the Top 4 and four in the Top 7 to give Concordia 21 team points to start the MIAC Outdoor Championship Meet which translates into an 11-point lead heading into next week’s team competition.

In an inconceivable turn of events on Day 1 at the MIAC Heptathlon Championship, Cobber first-year teammates Lauren Pearson and Kaili Malvey are tied for the lead after four events.

The Cobbers went across the Red River and competed at the annual NDSU Spring Classic and turned in several Top 5 finishes at a meet that featured NCAA Division I and II squads.

Senior NCAA Indoor Meet participant Emily Rengo made sure there would be no slow start to the outdoor season as she led the MIAC Indoor Champs at the St. Ben’s Optimistic Meet in Collegeville.

A True Team MIAC Championship!

Concordia ended its 27-year championship drought by using the strength of its team to capture its fourth MIAC Indoor Championship Meet title in program history. The Cobbers only had three event wins over the two days but used a boat load of podium finishes to tie for the most indoor championships of any school currently in the conference.

Pearson Shatters School Record and Captures MIAC Pentathlon Title

The Concordia‑Moorhead women’s multi‑event squad delivered one of its strongest collective showings in recent history at the MIAC Indoor Championships, powered by a sensational championship run from Lauren Pearson, who not only won the pentathlon but also broke the school record in the 55m hurdles to launch her dominant day.

Senior Kyla Nygaard led a bonanza of impressive finishes for Concordia at the 2-day NDSU Bison Open. Nygaard pulled off the rare event win in the meet that was dominated by NCAA Division I and II athletes. And to make her performance even better, Nygaard broke a school record in the process.
