For the second time in program history, the Concordia women's track program doubled down on MIAC championships, with the previous double dip coming in 1999. The Cobbers claimed the conference outdoor women's crown this past weekend, backing up an MIAC indoor title in late February.
Concordia pulled off the track & field season double as they cruised to the team title at the MIAC Outdoor Championship Meet at St. Olaf less than three months after earning the crown at the conference indoor meet at Carleton.
Concordia is poised for another banner finish at the MIAC Outdoor Meet as they scored 84 team points on Friday and hold a 47-point lead in the team standings heading into the final day of competition.
Concordia honored its seniors and their families before the annual Cobb Open and then showcased its team talent during the five hours during the meet as they proved why they are one of the favorites to claim the MIAC Outdoor Championship Meet title next weekend.
