Less than 24 hours after cruising past host St. John's in a dual meet, the Cobbers came away with four weight-class titles and 17 Top 3 finishes at the annual SJU North Country Open.

Senior Nate Kisgen was one of 12 Cobbers who posted podium finishes at the season-opening Wis.-Stevens Point Pointer Open.

First-year wrestler Chris Acuna (Billings, Mont.) led a group of 25 Cobbers at the season-opening Wis.-Stevens Point Pointer Open. Acuna posted a 4-0 record and won the 157-lb weight class in the silver division of the tournament.
