MITCHELL, S.D. (9/13/25)---It was a tale of two halves for the Cobbers at Dakota Wesleyan. Concordia took a 1-0 lead after the first 45 minutes of play, but gave up four unanswered goals in the second half and lost 4-1 to the Tigers.
The loss the third on the season for the Cobbers, who fall to 0-3-3. Dakota Wesleyan wins for the second time this year and is now 2-5-0.
Colin Moore came up with the lone goal for Concordia when he headed home a rebound from inside the 6-yard box in the 12th minute of play. The goal at 11:01 was Moore's third in the last two games and he now leads CC with three goals on the year.
Moore's strike came after a dead ball on the right wing. After the ball was crossed into the penalty area, Liam Weis was able to get to the ball and fire a shot on goal. The DWU keeper made the initial save but the rebound went straight up in the air and Moore was able to nod home the ball from close range.

The key stretch of the game came midway through the second half when Dakota Wesleyan scored three times in a span of 9:28 to take the game from a 1-1 deadlock to the final 4-1 decision.
