Brown And Mueffelmann Officially Qualify For NCAA Meet
Sophomores Josie Brown and Grace Mueffelmann made the most of their last trip La Crosse to officially make a return trip to La Crosse. Brown and Mueffelmann officially qualified for the NCAA Division III National Outdoor Meet to be held in La Crosse on May 21-23.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (5/18/26)---Sophomores Josie Brown (Saco, Mont.) and Grace Mueffelmann (Cold Spring, Minn./ROCORI HS) made the most of their last trip La Crosse to officially make a return trip to La Crosse.
Brown and Mueffelmann officially qualified for the NCAA Division III National Outdoor Meet to be held in La Crosse on May 21-23.
Both Brown and Mueffelmann posted their national qualifying marks in the final event of the season last Thursday at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier Meet and both will be headed back to La Crosse for nationals.
Concordia has now had at least one athlete qualify for the national outdoor meet five of the past six seasons. It marks the first time since 2021 that the Cobber have qualified multiple athletes for the meet.

Brown qualified in the 400-meter hurdles by posting a time of 1:01.79. That mark was No.23 on the DIII national list - one spot shy of the 22 qualifying spots – but after official declarations were announced, she jumped into the Top 22 due to another athlete declaring for a different event.
Brown will be making her second trip to a national meet. She was a part of the Cobber 4x400-meter relay team which qualified for the national indoor meet in March.
Brown will compete in the prelims of the 400-meter hurdles on Thursday, May 21 at 5:10 p.m.
Like Brown, Mueffelmann qualified for nationals with a season-best mark in La Crosse. She came through with a distance of 44-08.25 on her final attempt of the meet which moved her into the Top 22 and punched her ticket to the national meet.
Mueffelmann is currently ranked 19th in the event headed into the weekend. She will step into the circle for her first national meet on Friday, May 22 at 1 p.m.
