McMullen And Medley Relay Lead Cobbers On Day 2 At MIAC Meet
First-year diver Molly McMullen and the 400-yard medley relay team led the Cobbers on the first full day at the MIAC Championship Meet. McMullen finished in the Top 15 in the 1-meter dive, while the 400-yard medley relay team of Christina Moore, Leah Enedy, Tinsley Porter and Rosie Tran posted a season-best time by a full 16 seconds.
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (2/12/26)---Concordia finished off the first full day of the 2026 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championship Meet by dropping a full 16 seconds off their previous season best in the 400-yard medley relay.
The medley crew led the CC contingent on Thursday that featured several outstanding swimming performances and a Top 15 finish from first-year diver Molly McMullen.
Concordia finished Day 2 with 70 team points which is good for eighth place – and only two points out of seventh place.
The Cobber quartet of Christina Moore, Leah Enedy, Tinsley Porter and Rosie Tran clocked a 4:36.92 in the final event on Thursday which bested the team's previous season best in the 400-yard medley relay of 4:52.46.
Their finishing time was good for eighth place in the event and earned CC 22 team points.
McMullen, competing in her first collegiate diving championship meet, scored 281.05 points in the 11-dive prelims of the 1-meter dive event in the afternoon session. That score is a lifetime best and put her into 13th place in the final results.
Other highlights from the afternoon session included Tran breaking 30 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle for the first time in her career.
Porter and Vylet Frank posted personal-best times in 500-yard freestyle, while Enedy came through with a season-best mark in the 200-yard individual medley.
The Cobbers will continue with the MIAC Championship Meet when they dive into the pool for the prelim session on Friday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m.
