Joe Heinz was hired as an assistant coach for the Cobber wrestling program after an outstanding career as a student-athlete. Joe entered the coaching world in 2017-18 season under former Concordia national champion Phil Moenkedick.

Joe wrestled for the Cobbers from 2015-18 and was a part of the NCAA Regional Championship team in 2018. He finished his senior season with 21 wins.
