Jamestown opened strong, earning a fall at 125 and a sudden-victory win at 133 to take a 9–0 lead. But from 141 pounds on, it was all Cobbers.
At 141, Jack Major put Concordia on the board with a dominant 13–1 major decision, sparking what became a runaway comeback. Brady Kasprick followed at 149 with a 10–6 decision, continuing to chip away at the deficit.
The turning point came at 157, where Christopher Acuna delivered one of the night's most commanding performances, a 22–1 tech fall at the 7:00 mark, giving Concordia its first lead at 12–9.
