Cobbers Finish in Third at SJU Fall Finale
Freshman Owen Klish led the Concordia Men’s Cross Country team with a standout performance, finishing 22nd overall in a time of 29:52 to help propel the Cobbers to a third-place team finish at the Saint John's Fall Finale.
COLLEGEVILLE, MINN. (Nov. 7, 2025) — On a crisp fall afternoon at Saint John's University, the Concordia Men's Cross Country team competed at the Saint John's Fall Finale. Facing off against strong competition from Saint John's and Gustavus, the Cobbers dug deep and earned a third-place team finish, wrapping up the day with a total time of 2:35:19 and an average finish of 31:03.80.
Freshman Owen Klish led the charge, crossing the line in 22nd place with a time of 29:52, showing poise and promise in his debut season. Just seconds behind, Blake Andrews powered through to finish 24th in 30:18, followed closely by Jayson Lemler at 30:49. Noah Block kept the momentum going, securing 26th place with a time of 30:56, while Avery Harsell rounded out the Cobber pack with a determined finish at 33:24.
The Cobbers return for the NCAA North Regional Meet on November 15th.
