Cobbers Make It Three Straight In Florida
Concordia ran its record to 3-0 in Florida as they breezed past Adrian and St. John Fisher on Day 3 in Orlando. The Cobbers posted a 6-1 win over the Bulldogs and then blanked St. John's Fisher in the afternoon matinee.
ORLANDO, Fla. (3/04/26)---Concordia ran its record to 3-0 in Florida as they beat Adrian and St. John Fisher on Day 3 in Orlando.
The Cobbers opened their annual spring training trip by downing Wartburg 5-2 on Monday. CC had a day off on Tuesday and returned to the court on Wednesday, rested and ready to play, and earned back-to-back wins.
Concordia 6 vs. Adrian 1
The Cobbers opened the day by sweeping the doubles matches against Adrian. Ryoga Yano and Isaac Maddock claimed a win in the closest match of the dual. The Cobber duo was able to outlast their opponents 13-11 in the tie-breaker at No.1 doubles.
Logan Sandberg and Kai Kringlie finished off their match at No.2 doubles with a 6-4 win and Kai Pierce and Niklas Cook cruised to a 6-2 win at No.3 doubles.
Leading 1-0 after the doubles play, Concordia took five of the six singles bouts to post the 6-1 win over the Bulldogs.
Yano, Maddock, Sandberg, Pierce and Ryan Bitz all recorded straight-set victories for CC.

The Cobbers opened their match with St. John Fisher by duplicating their doubles feat from earlier in the day. CC claimed all three doubles wins to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles competition.
Yano and Maddock didn't need any drama in the afternoon match as they rolled to a 6-2 win at No.1 dubs. Sandberg and Kringlie and Pierce and Cook breezed to their second wins of the day at No.2 and No.3 doubles.
The Cobbers then swept all six singles matches in straight sets with the same six players that went 5-1 against Adrian.
CC has now won four of its last five matches and is 6-4 on the season.
Concordia will finish its Florida swing when they face Concordia (Wis.) on Thursday, Mar. 5 at 8 a.m.
