70-Second Stint Stops Cobbers In MIAC Quarterfinals

A span of 70-seconds determined Concordia’s MIAC quarterfinal game against St. Olaf. The Cobbers came up with the game-tying goal at the start of the third period, but then the Oles posted a pair of goals 1:10 apart midway through the period and came away with a 4-3 win.

Playoff Present Is Signed, Sealed And Delivered

Concordia used a pair of goals 17-seconds apart in the third period to beat St. Mary's 4-1 and clinch its 10th straight MIAC playoff spot.

Concordia skated to a 4-4 overtime tie in its series opener with Gustavus. The Gusties grabbed the extra point in the MIAC standings with 1-0 win in the shootout.

Concordia trailed 1-0 after 7-minutes of play in their series opener with St. Olaf but then scored four consecutive goals on their way to a 5-2 win.

Special Teams Shine In Win At #10 Aurora

Concordia scored a pair of power play goals, opened the game with a shorthanded goal and held Aurora scoreless in its six power play chances to earn a 4-1 victory.

Junior Isaac Henkemeyer-Howe cleaned up the garbage in front of the goal on his way to a hat trick as he led the Cobbers to a 6-3 win over Hamline in the first game of the 2-game series.

A cold front rolled into St. Cloud midway through the second period when Concordia watched a close 4-3 game against St. John’s turn into a frigid 7-3 defeat in the MIAC opener for both teams.  

Sophomore Isaac Henkemeyer-Howe had a goal and an assist in the Cobbers' game at Wis.-Superior. He leads CC with six points this year.
Skate Is On The Other Foot at Superior

On Friday night, Concordia scored two goals in the third period to come away with a 3-1 win. On Saturday, the skate was on the other foot as Wis.-Superior netted two goals in the first 6-minutes of the third period and handed the Cobbers a 5-4 loss.

Junior goalie Matt Fitzgerald turned aside 19 shots to help the Cobbers beat Northland 3-1 and run their win streak to two games.
2 Goals In The 3rd Lead To 2nd Straight Win

Concordia broke open a 1-1 tie after two periods, by netting a pair of goals in the first 8-minutes of the third and went on to beat Northland 3-1.
