Bio
Jacob Sobolik joined the Cobber men's basketball staff as an assistant coach in the spring of 2025.
Before coming to Concordia, Sobolik served as a graduate assistant at Minot State University during the 2024-25 season and helped the Beavers advance to the NSIC Tournament Championship game and earn a spot in the NCAA Division II tournament. While at Minot, he handled a majority of the basketball operations, including scheduling logistics, planning youth camps and tournaments, recruiting, among other tasks.
A Moorhead native, Sobolik earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from MSU-Moorhead in 2024. While at MSUM, he served as a student manager, contributing to practice preparation, team travel, equipment management, and game-day preparation. During his four seasons with the Dragons, the team compiled an 80–30 record, captured two NSIC championships, and made four trips to the Division II NCAA Tournament.
