WINTER, HAVEN, Fla. (3/5/26)---Concordia dropped both of its games on Day 6 of their annual spring trip to Florida.
The Cobbers fell 10-0 to No.19-ranked Wis.-Oshkosh in the opener and lost 3-1 to Warburg in Game 2 on Thursday.
Concordia is now 4-3 for the season.
Concordia 0, #19 Wis.-Oshkosh 10
Concordia was unable to generate offense against No. 19‑ranked UW–Oshkosh, falling 10–0.
The Titans' pitching duo of Connor Walters and Joe Richardson combined to throw the 13th no‑hitter in program history, allowing five total baserunners while striking out eight.
The Cobbers put runners on in the second, third and sixth innings but could not break through. Concordia's best early chance came in the third when Drew Dorsey and Ryan Kloster drew back‑to‑back walks, but a pop‑up and a pair of flyouts ended the threat.
UW–Oshkosh opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the first and added two more runs in the second. The Titans steadily extended their lead with two-run innings in the third and seventh while tacking on single runs in the sixth and seventh.
Concordia starter Alex Claussen worked the first three innings, striking out four before giving way to Brett Schlangen, who allowed just one run over three frames. Bergen Bauman finished the seventh.
Concordia 1, Wartburg 3
Concordia outhit Wartburg 8–6 in the second game of the day but couldn't come up with the timely swings it needed in the 3–1 loss. The Cobbers stranded nine runners and had at least one baserunner in six different innings but were held to a single run in the sixth.
Wartburg broke a scoreless game in the fifth when a leadoff single set up an RBI double. The Knights doubled their lead an inning later, taking advantage of a hit‑by‑pitch and a sacrifice before run-scoring double made it 2–0.
Concordia rallied in the bottom half of the fifth after Ben Shumansky singled and Bryce Binek walked. Brayden Wolfgram moved both runners up with a bunt and Luke Van Erp delivered a sacrifice fly to cut the margin to 2–1. That was as close as the Cobbers would get.
Wartburg added an insurance run in the eighth.
Shumansky led the Cobber offense with a pair of hits and the team's lone run scored, while Mason Henry, Jack Primus, Luke Knudsen, Jake Gruebele, Wolfgram, and Zack Ehnstrom each added a hit.
Caleb Johnson got the start on the hill and went 5.0 innings. He only allowed one run and struck out six. Concordia's bullpen was steady, with Vann Olson and Cael Olson combining for two scoreless innings.
The Cobbers will look to get back on the winning track when they face Utica and Beloit on their final day in Florida.
